Since this is one of the important exams in my life.
I decided to blog about it.
Maybe help you to pray for me.
So far I've been a little slacky,
but what a blessing a lost bike has been!
Now I every day have to wake up early
and go college to study
(and skip classes) hehe=p
I hope this time exam won't drive me nuts.
I have Octo with me to cheer me up.
But actually I'm going nuts over it!
It's so cute! (whatever you may think of me=p)
(I don't hug it and sleep with it though. So small!
but I like squeezing it!)
OCTO! OCTO!
Oops it's November dy!
Start studying Calvin!
Physics on Tuesday.
P.S. Octo stands for Octopus from CIMB Clicks thingy.
Don't ever call it SOTONG or SOTONG KURITA in a bassy tone!

Cameron Highlands Day 1
When I think about Cameron Highlands
It would be flowers, cool air, mountains, tea, pitcher plants
and RESIDENTIAL BIBLE SCHOOL!
(What a great thing to have RBS reunion last Saturday and today stay in HCC!)
BUT NEVER EVER I THINK OF STRAWBERRIES!!!
Anyway, this time we took another way up to Cameron Highlands.
A shorter way from Benta via Sg Koyan. (it's okay if you don't know this=)
There are currently four routes up to the Camerons.
One which many know is the nostalgically winding nauseating Tapah way.
Some who studied geography more would know the Simpang Pulai way which goes down to Ipoh.
Another one is the Gua Musang way.
The latest to the addition is the Sg Koyan way
made to help Pahang people to get fresher agricultural products
instead of bypassing other states like Perak and Selangor
but directly from Pahang aka Cameron Highlands!
(I'm a proud Pahangite!)
It hasn't really been opened yet, we thought it was.
We were warned of some stretches of road untarred...
And the whole journey does seem peaceful and tranquil.
There are huge tualang trees with big visible wild honey combs
and some baobab-looking trees as if we were in Africa.
Dotted along the way was Pos Betau and some other Orang Asli villages.
There was beautiful morning mist and the zephyr was cooling!
Mana tau reach one stretch there was a guard there saying we can't drive further
after driving about 1 hour plus.
That timid young man said we need a pass from Sg Koyan police station.
Previously we did went to that police station to confirm which was the road to Camerons.
But that policeman said the road is open and ditto.
WHAT PASS?
Now it really feels like a refugee being blocked from fleeing!
Especially when I've just visited some Myanmar Refugee School on Saturday!
The young man said he can let us through
but if anything happens and his supervisors find out
his menial salary will be cut.
So dad "paid" him RM 10 and both cars were allowed to enter.
(My uncle and aunt tagged along too)
Paying highway toll lah we consider it.
Moral dilemma? To bribe or go back to Sg Koyan get pass?
Lord, if we sinned forgive us!
That stretch of uncompleted road was treacherous!
Any moment our car can slide down into the ravines or river.
Just one wrong steer of the wheels, we're dead.
ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Thank God that day was raya and it wasn't from 12-5PM
where the blasting of granite is carried out (this is a rock, geography experts! not grenade).
With much praying, we safely got through in one piece
and saw the signs of civilisation!
Bertam Valley vegetable farms!
Cauliflower (white, green and PURPLE!)
Onions, gao choi, kam jing fa, yuen choi (the sweet soup vege)
tomatoes, peppermint and all kinds of other choi (vege)
This is Mr D's canteen!
We went to a bee farm. Nothing interesting.
Overly commercialized tourism and throat-slitting prices.
AND THANK YOU SO MUCH TO PEOPLE WHO FAIL GEOGRAPHY
AND THINKS THAT CAMERON HIGHLANDS
IS ALL ABOUT STRAWBERRIES!!!!
The first thing we see when we enter Tanah Rata is strawberries.
Loads and loads of them.
Be it pillows, magnets, fresh and dried sickening strawberries, jam and even CALCULATORS!!!
Rows and rows of shops invaded by strawberries.
It's like there's a strawberry monster who casted a spell on all Camerons!
Ish, strawberries!
Anyway, we visited my dad's former employer.
My dad before his college years went to Camerons to work.
He did those butterflies and insect frames.
Like those Form 6 biology students stuff.
WHAT A COOL JOB!
Working at shopping malls or
McD or Giant or wherever is never going to be that fun.
My dad's employer was a really wonderful man.
All his three children were educated and are working overseas.
That above 70 years old man knows how to use Photoshop
and the webcam he uses is HD!
My dad and he have very good boss-employee relationship.
Coz my dad was a very hardworking worker.
And I want to be like him.
Dad brought some freshly dropped Kunyit Durians for his boss.
That old man was very happy and even took photographs to keep it in memory.
(Apparently next day, he was liked the durian so much
that he felt guilty not able to treat us dinner that night
and kept asking us to join him for dim sum breakfast next day!)
His wife was very hospitable and serve us red wine and hot milo!
All of my three siblings tasted some red wine.
Not really nice but we smiled. I personally find SAGC's wine better.
(Yeah, Christians have this "sacrament" called drinking the cup,
something Jesus asked Christians to do to remember Him.
And a little bit of wine is healthy.
So I drink a few mL of wine every Sunday to remember what Jesus did on the cross.
Don't get me wrong, Christians are not encouraging excessive drinking!)
Then, about 3PM we checked into HCC.
I saw Kak Tutip and Aunty Kam Fong
Two wonderful people who cooked food for the whole bunch RBS students like me.
HCC now is so nostalgic.
Too bad I didn't get to meet Isaac Tan.
Evening time, we went to Brinchang's night market.
And you know what, it's the CURSE OF STRAWBERRIES again!
EVERYWHERE is flooded with that detestable fruit.
Now I have thoughts it's the fruit that Eve and Adam ate!
All the stalls were selling dried strawberries mixed with honey.
Cameron's must have an oversupply of strawberries!
It's crazy! And as an economics student, I'm going to be rational.
Since it's a perfect competition market, it does no harm comparing prices.
All of them are same packaging and with some "tawar-menawar", one can get a good deal!
Calvin's guide to buy dried strawberries in Camerons:
[1] Don't buy it at tourist attraction centres which have no competitors. Competition keep prices low.
[2] Don't buy stalls that are at the front of the market. Normally they use their location to get you buy at a higher price. You'll regret very much as you continue to walk down the market and see prices lowering down as well. Don't get unnecessary depression and heartache!
[3] At my time the minimum price I checked was 1 kg of dried strawberries for RM20 and get a free packet of 100g dried strawberries.
[4] How to choose good dried strawberries? Choose the ones that are wet ones, it means they are just marinated with honey. They can be kept longer. The dry dry ones are in stock for a long time already.
[5] How to store strawberries? You can keep them at room temperature. (Some say can refrigerate but others say cannot, so dried strawberries: ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK TO THE REFRIGERATOR!)
Word of caution: My dad's employer said that many of these dried strawberries are from China, not Camerons. To meet those strawberry demands, firms imported those dried things from China. The night market people will not tell you it's from China, but the packet never says the strawberries are produced in Camerons, only packed in Camerons. And you know China stuff like melamine, it might not be good for health. There's this SODIUM BENZOATE preservative in all the dried strawberries! If you tasted that the dried strawberry is bitter, then best not eat it. It might contain too much preservative.
Again, let's not stereotype all "Made in China" products. All things should be consumed in moderation. Many things you eat has sodium benzoate. So don't consider the strawberries (dried ones) I bought for my friends to eat as propaganda to kill all my beloved friends brain cells so they die in TEE. I simply couldn't find better stuff in Camerons. (There is no reverse psychology here okay, I'm going to dump them if no one eats. As proof, I'll eat it too! Die together and live together as friends.) AIYAH, IT'S SAFE TO EAT ONE LAR=P

Dad's Hometown
Well for people for think Kuantan is in Kelantan or Terengganu or Sarawak
They will have no idea where Benta is. It's near KL - Kuala Lipis!
And the state is Pahang. I REPEAT! PAHANG!
Learn some geography people. Pahang is not that ULU!
Coz I'm not! ;=)
So in this rustic little kampung called Benta,
I was first exposed to kampung life.
I bathe in rivers,
saw bamboo sticks more huge and tall than me
(which I one day aspire to be=)
ate lots of fruits
rambutan, duku, jambu, nangka, chempedak
and DURIAN!!!!
This time around the only durian tree in my grandma's house fuited!
It was RAYA KUNYIT or 毛山王 (my uncles said 猫山王 is wrong!)
It's the PERFECT DURIAN!
Said to be originated from a special durian tree Gua Musang (this one is in Kelantan!)
This durian has lots of flesh and small seeds and GOLDEN YELLOW!
Rarely you'll even find a SANG FAN SHU (a spoilt durian)!
And there was a whole bunch of it still waiting on the tree.
Each day, about three durians fall down for my extended family's consumption.
Coupled to that there the Orang Asli King durian aka barbaric people king durian.
And it tasted great! Another PERFECT durian!
They are as great as Orang Asli, I simply love them.
And they are far from barbaric as proven by the durian!
Indeed a great day to feast with durians and my family members!

The Not-So-Complicated Giraffe Test
Found this mail from Mun Foong early this morning
and found it to be a greater "motivation" to study more=p
Try yourself and you'll know what I mean...
[Highlight the space instructed to know the answer]
Question 1
How do you put a giraffe into a refrigerator?

According to Anderson Consulting Worldwide, around 90% of the Professionals they tested got all questions wrong, but many preschoolers got several correct answers. They say this conclusively disproves the theory that most professionals do not have the brains of a 4-year-old.
(No idea this is true or not, but it's one annoying test for sure... The giraffe aka me the panjang feels so stupid taking this test...)
And talking about using your brains how about this story for a change?
(It's time to give your poor brain a rest, don't you think so?)
An old man lived in Idaho. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work. His only son, who used to help him was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament.
Dear Son,
I'm feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my potato garden this year. I am just getting too old to be digging up the garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me.
Love Dad
A few days later, he received a letter from his son.
Dear Dad,
For heaven's sake, Dad, don't dig up that garden,
that's where I buried the BODIES.
Love Son
At 4 a.m. the next morning, F.B.I. agents and local police showed up and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. They apologized to the old man and left. That same day the old man received another letter from his son.
Dear Dad,
Go ahead and plant the potatoes now.
That's the best I could do under the circumstances.
Love Son
And the moral of the story is to make full use of your brain to work smarter not harder!

Five Things I Love About Facebook
It's so funny that Facebook had somehow been
the THING in my life for these few months.
I created a Facebook-style prayer board in church
CYD now has a Facebook account
My brother has a Facebook account
Now my sister has a Facebook account
Even EALD listening test talks about FACEBOOK!!!
I wonder when's my dad gonna sign up for Facebook...
Beware ye folks in SABS...
Discipline teacher stalking you all...wakakaka
Discipline teacher stalking you all...wakakaka
I facebook practically every day, at least once.
I'm totally not surprised that
it's currently the third most visited site in the world
just after two major search engines Google and Yahoo!
Despite that video of 25 Things I Hate About Facebook
I guess many people still love Facebook
So here's my list of
Five Things I Love About Facebook
[1] I like the 'Like' button.
It makes people happy but need you not to comment, or when there's just simply no words better to describe. Simply 'Like' it! I'm glad there's no 'hate' button. Samuel once complained that people 'like' even their not so likable moments such as 'fell down into the drain', but it's just a teaser. No one would 'like' if the status update is 'My son is kidnapped'.
[2] The Live Stream aka Twitter-like feature.
When it came out, many people hated it. Now most of us find it fun and you get to know what your friends are doing without the need to go their forever un-updated blogs. Then there are those funny comments, interesting quotes and quizzes. For people like me who don't read news and a total Youtube noob, it's my source of knowing interesting things. People share knowledge there. Very often it serves as refreshment of the soul after information fatigue syndrome with many people posting complaints about studies. It's a better form of taking a break than KitKat, plus it's free!
[3] The Photo Tags and Comments
There are a lot of interesting photos on Facebook like my Standard Six class photo which I don't have and cute pictures of people when they're 'young' as profile pictures. And it's way easier to upload compared to blogger. Photos nowadays are way much more interactive in Facebook, most notably the most controversial photo of the year of comparing the similarities of Ginger and Siow Fern with 70 and counting comments. It might be irritating for some, but just untag yourself.
[4] The Birthday Reminders and other reminders
Now I have better 'memory' on people's birthday and gifts and greetings are free! Plus you get to know the birthdays of those friends you had a heart chat before but never got to know their birthdays until Facebook appears. Facebook does spam the inbox a lot, but at least each of those spam are at least some comments on your status updates not some spam selling viagra or trying to install viruses. For me, I don't mine cleaning up the Facebook mails. And yeah, I'm an attention deficit guy who welcomes any form of attention... Facebook cured me of ADD=p
[5] Of course, you get to connect with friends!
This is arguably the best reason why I ever go Facebook. Gone are the days when you hear about your friends in like two, three or ten years and know nothing how they spend their lives in overseas. Yeah, people argue that with Facebook there's less real life interaction, but many people simply use it as a means to enhance their real life relationships. One saves time to go over the unimportant "keeping up to date" details in their reunions and can discuss more meaningful stuff. You get to know big events in their life and can congratulate or offer condolences at real times rather than a belated one which has less impact.
So, Facebook is not that bad after all. It might be addictive, it might pry on your privacy, but it all really depends on how you use it for the good of others and yourself.

The Day After Merdeka
Since it's my EALD oral exam,
That sounds pretty much like The Day After Tomorrowaka Lusa...LOL
Okay, enough of merdeka bashing
time for some patriotism.
Check out this link:
It's alternate stuff to all the 15Malaysia hoohaa

"This year, we got 3 Malaysians to rileks together. Afdlin Shauki, Dato David Aramugam and Ho Yuhang spent a nite at a pasar malam and talked about Malaysia. In the process, we got a few laughs and a lot of meaning."
I still can't believe Proton actually come this out.

Calvin Had A Premarital Sex...
...talk with Jason.
(Calvin in his lame attempts to make people's eyes popped out=p
See the grammar also know something wrong with the title...
this generation of perverse grammar...)
It's on Merdeka night
the night where one is merdeka and free to just do it...
the night when "a country that starts with M" boleh, boleh berkhalwat...
Yor, the tulah of Merdeka shall fall on me tonight again!
(the first time happened on the day with a nightmare!)
Click on the comments link below to view the "tulah" incident....
Jason told me (I have so many friends named Jason, guess lar which one)
about this drama series on the secret lives of American teenagers.
Typical lar, 15 years get pregnant, and sex is like the normal thing.
But there was an interesting plot of one Christian couple...
In this BGR,
"Hey, my dad say it's wrong to have sex before marriage.
True love waits!"
"No problem, we can get married and then have sex!"
"But my dad says I can't get married until after university"
The guy start counting with his fingers
And guess what? The girl was dreaming to be a doctor!
Count the years yourself when she's allowed to get married!
Looking desperate, the guy suggested,
"What about oral sex? It's not exactly sexual intercourse..."
"It's still SEX right?" The girl said bluntly.
The guy was sort of disappointed, but he loved her deeply.
But his sexual drive was too strong,
sohe resorted to have another girlfriend who was willing.
The strange thing was, and the guy was a Christian
asked the other girlfriend who isn't,
to pray for forgiveness before having sex!
"Hey, you want it or not?"
The guy was like trembling,
"God might zap us on the bed!"
Then I forgot how the plot went...
something like the guy was discovered by the Christian girlfriend...
Jason haven't watched finished the series...
(Calvin loves cliffhangers! =p)
Sometimes I just don't get
why sex has to be within the confinements of marriage...
Calvin can just walk past the BU area and Centrepoint
to see enough cats with premarital pregnancy!
Animals don't have marriage!
"Alsation, I hereby pronounce you as husband to Chihuahua!"
Marriage doesn't make sex more safe.
If the spouse has HIV gotten from his/her mum
the other one will kena also.
Marriage doesn't guarantee that sex will be more fun.
Many men and women end up dissatisfied.
The body produces gametes no matter whether you're married or not.
Aka, the body doesn't care if you're married or not.
Marriage doesn't guarantee you won't end up in divorce.
In fact it sort of guarantees, you can't divorce
if you aren't married IN THE FIRST PLACE
(So happen that "In the first place" is Mr D's favourite phrase
and by the way "divorce" is pronounced as DEE-was rather than DIE-wass)
But why there's marriage IN THE FIRST PLACE?
How come so many cultures have this thing called "marriage"?
Most of the time, it's a great and lavish event, to add on.
Guess there's a purpose God created marriage for Adam and Eve.
Probably because Adam and Eve
weren't animals who just do it for the sake of
"BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY"...
The love between them goes beyond eros,
they are to care for each other and truly love one another
and somehow humans are creatures wired with the need to focus
or else they fail
(proven by AUSMAT students, including me)
So does marriage, it helps us to focus on that one person we love
not just some fun fun legalistic "holier-than-thou" procedure...
to make sure you are BOUND FOREVER to
your (insert negative adjective) wife.
(In a sense there's freedom in that "bondage" to fully love your wives
with marriage pulling you back from lust's deceptive distractions)
Premarital sex is fun, but leaves you empty
because there's no commitment.
And oh yeah, for those who has premarital sex,
pray for forgiveness like that guy in the drama series
not because God will zap you immediately if you don't
but God is gracious and always will accept you back
(and help you pull through the consequences...
milk powder might just fall from heaven)
All said, true love waits.
And Calvin is waiting for his one true love too =p
Calvin sort of kesian the ibu tunggal cats in BU who was dump by their lovers after having sex...

Happy Meal =)
Today is Judgement Day at EALD...
I was a judge to comment on people's speaking skills on interpreting pictures.
I just record this for fun.... haha
The main for today is this:
Happy Meal at Yuen Steamboat restaurant
The one where chicken wings disappear within less than 5 seconds after it appeared.
The height of human competition for food!
Never in my life I've seen it to be so intense!
Happy Meal =) was a liberation of steam in the form of steamboat.
Liberation from steam and pressure of
Physics Topic Test on Tuesday
Chemistry Topic Test on Wednesday
EALD Assignment on Thursday
and Applicable Maths Topic Test on Friday.
We have to celebrate merdeka early
because immediately on 1 September, there's oral test and more classes.
It's was true merdeka
people showing all their colours in eating.
Ming Chai's ferocity in fighting for chicken wings.
Sing Yong's verbosity in announcing the arrival of chicken wings.
Joel and Jaevon's boldness in engaging a war over chicken wings.
Beng and KCV's amazing appetite for ICE CREAM
and not forgetting the ALWAYS EAT JAGUNG gang! (Long live Fern and Calvin!)
Let's talk about HAPPY MEAL =) Dish 1
CHICKEN WINGS!!!
It just drive people crazy!
People dive in and with such dexterity to grab all the chicken wings.
Such tenacity with all sorts of technique of obtaining highest yield!
Ming Chai proposed all kinds of techniques:
1 - One take one block the competitors
2 - Take from other people's plate when they are busy taking it.
3 - Steal from the kitchen.
And I'm really amazed at how fast the chicken wings disappear within seconds, literally.
The whole thing was clean and done.
However, the best thing I like about Yuen is the ice-creams.
I think I ate about eight flavours.
(in increasing deliciousness: dried fruits with vanilla-less vanilla, sugus-flavoured strawberry, yam, very artificial honeydew, jagung-y corn, vanilla, chocolate, chocolate chips in vanilla)
Tony, KCV and Ah Beng are experts in eating this.
They ate like seven bowls?
No wonder ice-cream disappear so fast
and for once I had to queue to get ice-creams.
Come here eat steamboat or ice-cream? Haha.
Actually, the other food are pretty plain. The steamboat is just normal.
I ate all the meat and vege until so jelak already.
Guess it was the fun of being with friends.
Switching tables and talk to very long time no talk people.
Mutual feeding of ice cream between Fern and Calvin
(oh we are just friends... don't over-analyse)
Meeting junior like Jia Jun, a future-to-be architect as well
Posing in pictures
See other people run away from photo shooting
See Poh Hui killing Ming Chai for pranking her into photo shoot
"Ei, Poh Hui! Look at my handphone camera lens!"
*points at it as if something wrong with the lens*
*chak*
"EI, YOU TAKE MY PICTURE!!!"
This is so 经典!
And yes, Jun Kai's wonderful picture and
announcement to the world of his name by his Engineering mates.
And discrimination of tall guy sitting under a pot of artificial pitcher plants.
Great question from Nai Lin:
"What hurts the most? Durian falling on your head or coconut?"
"Durian" and with lengthy physics explanations of pressure exerted by durian thorns
and Tony's strange biology answer of durian causing both internal and external bleeding unlike coconuts only with internal bleeding.
"YOUR HEAD LAR!!!"
How can we be so stupid one?
(Dear reader, get the joke?)
However, I guess the best-est thing about HAPPY MEAL=)
is about discovering pure laughter and the freedom to be wacky.
Studies really has a toll on my PR skills,
but today I regain joy of just discovering to talk to friends without inhibition.
To step on other people's shoes just like that. Haha, Poh Hui double step in return.
To sing merdeka songs while waiting for T632 back to Kelana Jaya.
To stand tall in pictures and smile without kaku-ness.
It's been a great day!
Thanks to Nai Lin for making it really VIBE
VERY INTERESTING BIG EVENT!!!
Thanks to Ming Chai to reminding and inviting!
Thanks to Poh Hui for driving and guiding the way!
Thanks to Fern for making things really funny!
Thanks to many who came: Sarah, Jaevon, Joel, Nicholas, Woei Song, Ginger, Ah Beng, KCV, Ming Chai, Sing Yong, James, Poh Hui, Keoh Ying, Yat Seng, Nai Lin, Fern, Tony, Jun Kai, Jia Jun, Keng Chai, Gary, Wei Khang, and who's that missing 23-rd person?
Oh yeah, drop the comments about the things you find interesting during HAPPY MEAL=)
I really want to record this great eating we had!
For it's really a HAPPY MEAL=)

My Roommate
Oh Calvin going nostalgic AGAIN?
I remembered last year when Nick asked me when was Leong's birthday.
"Eh, you sure his birthday is on 26 August and not today?"
"Of course. I'M HIS ROOMMATE OKAY?"
Then, kantoi, it turned out to be 25 August.
So this year I made sure after my birthday,
I checked properly the dates via Facebook.
I find it interesting how can two roommates' birthday can be so close.
Probably because both of our mothers are primary school teachers.
And the only time they are free to conceive is during the year-end holidays =p
Anyway, the other Five "whatever-you-want-to-call:-musketeer, duo+trio" boys
Chan, Tony, Junk Kai and Calvin decided to surprise Leong.
The operation went like this on 24 August:
[1] Calvin designed the birthday card and ask students and lecturers to sign.
When getting lecturers to sign, he almost had the chance the see the App Maths mock paper! and Ms Say actually wrote in Chinese for Leong. Mr D with his flowery language wrote only HAPPY BIRTHDAY! which was quite reasonable, what else better to wish?
[2] Calvin bought the cake from Secret Recipe
The cake should be called Cappucino Cheese. Forget liao... but the main thing was that he was cycling it back all the way back to BU6... and guess what? nothing happened! it arrived safely. It was a piece of cake!
[3] The four discussed their plan of surprise and started calling people
I can't believe Tony has to scroll his SMS to write a special birthday wish. Ms Say was correct: Engineering students are totally not artistic. Haha. It was confirmed 9.30 PM was the time to surprise.
[4] Calvin became the spy and was on the lookout for the target's slightest movement.
It was torture to act normal in the room. I found out that the birthday card was not sticking well and my glue stick ran out. So I actually borrowed glue from Leong to re-paste his birthday card! Then, I was afraid his mum is going to pick him back for birthday celebration as his bags seemed neatly arranged. I asked whether he's going back in the most awkward way. But didn't kantoi...
[5] The moment before surprise.
At 9.20 PM, Leong went to sleep. How wei?!!! Then, Gary, Yat Seng, Keoh Ying, Ming Chai, Tony, Jun Kai and Chan came only to find the outside pedlock locked. Thank God I decided to come out as unplanned. Had to re-teach Chan how to sing Happy Birthday in Merry Christmas tune. All was ready. Candles lighted on cake, everyone was prepared for ambush!
[6] The moment of surprise!
I unlocked the door and then Tony realise my room fan was still on with its normal speed of maximum 5! KANTOI! The troops retreated and I turned off the fan. Then Leong woke up, wondering what was all the noise and Calvin turning off the fan when almost went into proper sleep. Apa Calvin ni? Off the fan for no reason. (The lights and fan of a room is a huge source for roommate's argument typically) So finally, we went in immediately (before he can get angry =p) and sang the Happy Birthday song in Merry Christmas tune. Ming Chai and I almost sang "We wish you a Merry Christmas!" instead of "We wish you a Happy Birthday!". Anyway, we decided to sing the original version of Happy Birthday, coz the Merry Christmas tune was kinda lame. It was that warm, friendly tune again!
[7] The Reaction Force (oh the moment in [5] & [6] are not referring torque)
The birthday was speechless and grinning widely. We then went outside and snapped pictures. Birthday boy said, "Thank you very much. Didn't expected it." We invited him to eat the cake. Birthday boy said, "Thank you very much. Didn't expected it." We snapped more pictures. Birthday boy said, "Thank you very much. Didn't expected it." We asked how did the cake taste like. Birthday boy said, "Thank you very much. Didn't expected it." We joked around. Birthday boy said, "Thank you very much. Didn't expected it." We left. Birthday boy said, "Thank you very much. Didn't expected it.". Leong repeated thank you a lot.
To Leong:
Thank you for the birthday card you put on my desk today afternoon! Although it came after your birthday card, thanks for the effort of creating one for me. It was so kawaii! And yet able to capture our moments of joy, fighting and cold wars. It's an up-and-down time with you, but a wonderful roller coaster. Be it with Kilo and Cal, our hamsters, our late night talks about our weddings in the future at Cloud-9 scale, deep conversations about God and matters of life, the movies together , the belanja-ing food for each other, the stay-over at your house and the extremely memorable argument started with me scrubbing the toilet floor while you're sleeping (yes, Calvin is capable doing the strangest things to irritate people), they all enriched my life. Although we are talking less now, probably a sign of work hardening from AUSMAT, I do hope after mock our friendship will be annealed. However no matter what happens, I will always remember this "肥仔" roommate of mine. Let's not give up pursuing our dreams!

Size DOES Matter...
Today there isn't much interesting stuff happening.
It's all about preparing for EXAMS... boring.
Since there's nothing to post, I put up more videos
which I wanted to continue from "Why Guys Should Chase Girls?" post.
So here they are, that funny Californian guy again.
See if you agree or disagree... have a laugh.
Disclaimer again: Don't relate this to me too much...haha

Soap Making
Soap making is so not fun.
Messy.
Cannot make soap bar.
It smelt like soya bean.
And I'm so jealous that juniors
Can do experiments in their bridging programme.
Ours, thanks to the "sapo", nothing at all.
Chemistry used to be my favourite subject
but not now.

Shopping
Soap making tak terjadi...
Coz saponification don't have "傻婆 sa po" - the crazy woman
Every single symptom of h1n1 she has.
Then Ms Effa
depressed us with the recent Applicable Mathematics test
another time for me to fail Maths AGAIN?
Depressing....D:
So instead of sleeping
As Ms Effa always complains our class of
I went shopping to destress
Ms Say's suggestion
Shopping for grocery!
This time no more faraway Tesco
but Jusco.
Bought jackfruit, milk, sausages, eggs, bread
Kinder Bueno and that Japanese junk food with seaweed and rice biscuit
to de-depress.
Expensive destress method.
But eventually
the best was sleeping!
I slept from 8pm to 6am next day!

Birthday 2.0
Hi, I'm Calvin! And I am PREDESTINED to marry you!
(not a Christian pick up line confessing love to Michelle, Linus!)
WHAT A TESTIMONY ON GOD'S WILL!
"Then I said, ' Look, I have come.
As is written about me in the Scriptures:
I take joy in doing your will, my God,
for your instructions are written on my heart.'" - Psalm 40:7-8
The next exciting thing happened was the surprise party at Michelle's house.
Uncle Voon Siong and Aunty Mei Lin are such wonderful parents.
They somehow manage to "berkomplot" with Michelle's college friends
and Shah Alam Gospel Centre to plan a surprise party for Michelle.
First off, the college friends bring Michelle out for shopping
so that we can prepare ourselves for the party.
We had park our cars far away from the house and hide our shoes.
Linus had ronda with his bicycle
then the caterer had to brought away as he arrived too early.
Michelle was absolutely clueless about this
she even called home to ask his dad whether she can bring in her college mates back home!
But we waited really long for her to come back.
Hiding on ourselves in the living room as if
hiding from caught by an enemy.
My long body, I realise, is unsuitable for hiding!
Anyway, the moment came.
Michelle opened the door and
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE! with drum rolls from Clement
She was absolutely speechless!
The night went well.
Good food and I smashed a glass against the wall
(accident after hearing Yin Ching's accident).
Uncle Dexter dedicated Psalm 23 to her
Jason with his creative brain made a wonderful birthday brochure for his sister.
Linus HUGGED her sister.
Andrew was wearing the shirt "Don't make me to come and hug you!".Lol
Everything was great and I reached home about 11.30 pm.
Tired and you know what
Monday only is Michelle's birthday!

Hasta La Pizza!
PIZZA!!!
I go crazy when pizzas come!!!
Today's CF Auntie Dolly made home-baked pizzas!!!
The soft crust
generous amounts of cheese
lots of meat (and vege, Sam)
AND THERE'S HAWAIIAN CHICKEN!!!
Can't you believe it?
Don't ask me why I'm so excited over pizzas today.
I also don't know.
Probably the manifestations of
strange physics question before CF.
Too easy until I don't know how to do,
Absolutely fighting against time.
But who cares?
THERE'S PIZZAS!!!
The best thing is that I get to tapau for dinner!
Oh glorious pizzas!
God has been good
although I blew it the week many times. (Calvin sinning, get it?)
Today's CF reminiscing the wonderful life before AUSMAT started.
Then at night, at VIBE at BU6 field (yeah, VIBE going outdoors)
it's time to focus on studies but never let studies dehydrate spiritual life...
Okay, prepare sermon Calvin!

Brands
Not chicken essence...
no worries, I dislike it too...
Today no rain!
Sim's sixth sense went wrong today.
However, the Sun was too clouded in morning
That I miss the so-called longest solar eclipse.
Enough of weather report.
Back to brands.
Learnt something cool about franchises.
McDonalds and Starbucks.
Of ingenuity and daringness.
However, Mr Wong seemed to be a Starbucks spy though
promoting Starbucks indirectly to us.
Only today I knew there were so many spies around.
KFC spies. Lol.
Got amateur and professional too.
Sticking thermometers into fried chicken? LOL!
