Standing Tall With The Tall Guy 2

Blessed Sunday

It has been a meaningful Sunday.
I get to talk to people you missed talking.
I get to eat good food.
I get to eat CG spiritual food.
I get treated for dinner.
I get to treat some people with the cheesecake people treat me.
I get rest and sleep.

But you know what, the meaningful Sunday came
not just because of the "I get"s but the "I give"s.

I give my listening ear to others and share my heart.
I give compliments and "encouragement by finishing food" to the cook.
I give my brain and time to let God teach me.
I give myself available to be blessed.
I give what I really wanted to enjoy more - cheesecake
(don't worry SSCC, I'm more happy to give you the cheesecake!)
I give God a chance to refresh me through His ways.

And best still for"give" some people!

  1. Hi Calvin

I just read your Tall Guy Blog 2. Hmmm, am quite impressed!

The Lord bless your generous giving heart!

2 Corinthians 9:8 (New Living Translation)
8 And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.

2 Corinthians 9:8 (New International Version)
8And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

    2 Corinthians 9:8 (The Message)
8-11God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you're ready for anything and everything, more than just ready to do what needs to be done. As one psalmist puts it,

He throws caution to the winds,
giving to the needy in reckless abandon.
    His right-living, right-giving ways
never run out, never wear out.
This most generous God who gives seed to the farmer that becomes bread for your meals is more than extravagant with you. He gives you something you can then give away, which grows into full-formed lives, robust in God, wealthy in every way, so that you can be generous in every way, producing with us great praise to God.

It was good to have the simple meal, little chat & time of prayer together!

Yes, do remember the invite is open to come over just to lepak, rest, play (the piano, games, etc), chat, fellowship & feilo-ship!
