Standing Tall With The Tall Guy 2

The Best Monday of AUSMAT!

Architecture 1 students normally have
Monday blues and Wednesday Blues.

After the new semester,
Wednesday blues was gone,
but still stuck with Monday blues.

Today, things changed.
The Monday-Blue-Causer did not come.
The Wednesday-Blue-Remover asked to just go in Chemistry Lab
And watch the lab assistants do polymerisation.

What a lesson!
It was the only Chemistry Lab that I didn't dread
And everyone was attentive.
I didn't know lab assistants can be such interesting teachers!
More than the Monday-Blue-Causer definitely!
I'm humbled by them saying "I'm not lecturer okay?"
Their speech might not have that English accent,
But they explained things well
and even throw out questions that none of us can answer
and those are chemistry experiment fundamentals.

The 5% sebacoyl solution and 1,6-hexadiamine solution was fun!
Smoky! (They are unstable and poisonous and can cause fever!)
Then we had competition see who can pull the longest threads of nylon out from solution.
It was pure chemical fun!
Thanks lab assistants for making lab a fun time!

Then there was Faef's class of Poisson distribution and exponential distribution.
Normally every one goes to sleep in that class
because of the energy drain by Monday-Blue-Causer.
However, today she shared in dedication
to making her class interesting and preventing students from dozing
the answer that we have been waiting for an answer ever since we knew her.
Does E and K have any relationship?
It was half answered and left hanging - jodoh kat KBU?
Was tumpang-tumpang lama jadi tunang a truth in progress?

Yet, that was not the most inspiring part of Faef.
Her story of becoming a maths lecturer was indeed inspiring
as I quote her "I can't believe I'm teaching maths now!"
I shall not reveal too much lest some people misinterpret,
if you want the full story ask Architecture 1 students.
And Faef actually like Chemistry very much and
in fact better than maths in her secondary and college life!
Yor, why didn't she become our lecturer for Chemistry?
Chemistry will be so much more fun!

In conclusion, the lesson for the day:
Lecturers play an important role in ensuring a students successful study life.
Today, lecturers and even lab assistants make my day!
